  5. Background Check and Drug Screen - Acceptance is contingent upon completing and passing a background check. Students must pay costs for the criminal background check and drug screening, normally around $83. Directions for the background check process will be provided during orientation. Students should be advised that persons with certain types of criminal convictions may not be eligible for state licensure and/or national registry or certification. In addition, many employers perform criminal background checks and may not hire individuals with certain types of criminal convictions. All students will be required to provide a drug screening prior to matriculation and at other times, as deemed necessary by the program or its clinical sites. All screenings are completed at the student’s expense. Concerned students should complete an Ethics Review Pre-application with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  6. Physical examination filled out by the student’s physician. Document to be filled out will be provided at orientation.
  7. Immunizations - Before being admitted to an allied health program at 黑料网, a student must show proof of immunizations against the diseases listed below. Please bring proof of any immunization records to orientation. All vaccines must be completed before the first day of class. Students are required to maintain immunizations throughout the duration of the program. 
          Vaccinations required:
    • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Pertussis (Td/Tdap)- must have had one dose within ten years.
    • MMR- Those born since January 1, 1957, must have two doses since 12 months of age. Doses must be at least 30 days apart. Measles/Mumps/Rubella
    • Varicella Vaccine (Chicken Pox) - unless the first dose was received prior to thirteen years of age.
    • Influenza (Flu Shot)
    • Two-Step TB/PPD: If the result is positive a Chest X-ray will be required. These will be received 1 to 4 weeks of each other.
    • Complete Hepatitis B (Hep B) vaccination series: (3 Vaccinations)
    • Hepatitis B (Hep B) Titer – to verify immunity to the virus.
    • The COVID-19 vaccination may be important to your clinical trajectory, so we strongly encourage vaccination.
  8. Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification (CPR) - A course in CPR that is approved by the American Heart Association (AHA) in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Workers and must be hands-on training will be required to be completed by the beginning of the Fall semester and must be current through the end of clinical education. When the student has completed the CPR course, a copy of the card will be submitted to the Clinical Coordinator to be kept in the student’s records. It is the student’s responsibility to keep this information current. The program will arrange for a CPR instructor to provide a course for the class during the first 8-weeks of the program. Students will be responsible for the associated fee.
